We, at Providence Academy, affirm the same foundational beliefs held by HighPoint Church in Lake Wales, FL. Our Statement of Faith reflects our commitment to the teachings of Scripture and the truth of the Gospel. Below are the key beliefs that guide us: God The Trinity: We believe that God exists eternally as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, united in essence and purpose. God the Father: We believe that God the Father is the creator of all things, sovereign over the universe, and intimately involved in the lives of His creation. Jesus Christ, the Son: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, both fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father and will return to judge and rule the world. Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. He convicts people of sin, brings new life to those who repent and trust in Jesus, leads and comforts God's children, and empowers them to live rightly.
